Whisky and Walnut Raw Chocolates

This whisky and walnut raw chocolate recipe is another of our favourites! It’s such an incredibly easy way to impress friends with your chocolate making skills, ideal for after dinner chocolates or for when you’re just feeling a little bit naughty.

Takes: 25 minutes

100 g CHOC Chick Raw Cacao Butter
5-6 tbsp CHOC Chick Raw Cacao Powder 6 tbsp for a darker taste
3-4 tbsp CHOC Chick Sweet Freedom or other fruit syrup
walnut pieces soaked in whiskey

  1. Soak the walnuts in your favourite whisky.
  2. Melt the raw cacao butter in a bowl over a pan of water on a low heat.
  3. Add the raw cacao powder and Sweet Freedom/fruit syrup and mix well with a metal balloon whisk.
  4. Taste the mix to see if you need to add any more cacao powder or sweetener and remove from heat.
  5. Place a walnut half/piece into mini baking cups or round silicone moulds or ice cube trays.
  6. Spoon around 1tsp of the raw chocolate mix over the walnuts and place to set in the freezer for 15-20 minutes.
  7. Remove from freezer and enjoy!
