These crunchy, chewy toffee crisp bites are delicious, healthy snacks for both adults and kids, and they're easy to make too, so great for getting little ones involved. We have to say they're pretty addictive, so we're sure you'll want to make these toffee crisp bites more than once!
Makes: 9 squares
4 cups crisped brown rice
¾ cup brown rice syrup
½ cup almond butter
¼ cup CHOC Chick raw cacao butter beans, melted (26 beans)
¼ tsp salt
2 tbsp CHOC Chick raw cacao powder
3 x 30g of CHOC Chick quinoa pops
CHOC Chick Simple Raw Chocolate (recipe can be found here), melted
Add the crisped brown rice and quinoa bites to a large mixing bowl and set to one side.
In a small jug, stir together the brown rice syrup, almond butter and melted cacao butter. Pour into the mixing bowl and combine with the crisped brown rice and quinoa bites.
Line a square 9 inch pan and press the toffee crisp mixture, making sure it's packed in tightly and then place in the fridge to firm up.
Once firm, drizzle over the melted chocolate and once set, slice into 9 evenly square bites.
