There’s nothing better than a lovely cup of hot chocolate and it’s super easy to make deliciously vegan hot chocolate drinks with CHOC CHICK’s Raw Cacao Powder, Cinnamon Cacao, Mandarin Cacao and Turmeric & Ginger Cacao Blends.
2-3 tsp CHOC CHICK Cacao (Turmeric & Ginger Blend, Cinnamon Blend or Mandarin Blend)
1-2 tsp Fruit Syrup, Maple Syrup or Stevia (or more to taste)
Oat milk, almond milk or other dairy substitute
Add 2-3 tsp CHOC CHICK Cacao
Sweeten to taste with 1-2 tsp Fruit Syrup, Maple Syrup or Stevia (or more)
Mix in a little hot water to make a paste
Top up with more hot water
Add oat milk or dairy substitute and enjoy like a coffee or tea
For a richer hot chocolate, top up mainly with hot oat milk, almond milk or other dairy substitute and enjoy!
I normally make a hot chocolate around 2pm when I need a bit of a pick me up and have 4 different options to choose from. Our original Raw Cacao always hits the spot and gives me a lovely boost of energy, our Turmeric & Ginger Blend is especially amazing when you’ve got a cold and need that extra warming hug, I absolutely love the warmth of our Cinnamon Blend which always seems to cheer me up and the lightness of our Mandarin Blend is so refreshing I love it in smoothies and as a hot chocolate treat when I’m really craving sugar.
