For a healthy and delicious chocolate smoothie this creamy cacao and banana recipe is a must try! The combination of cacao, banana, avocado, almond and date come together to create the most deliciously smooth and creamy jar that is free-from dairy and refined sugar. It's even made with a spoonful of cacao butter for an extra rich and chocolatey flavour!
Makes: 1 large jar / 2 small)
1 frozen banana
1 ripe avocado halve
1 cup almond milk (+ extra ½ cup if you want a thinner smoothie)
2-3 medjool dates
2 tbsp. CHOC Chick cacao powder
1 tbsp. CHOC Chick cacao butter, melted
1 tbsp. almond butter
Put all of the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. If you desire a thinner consistency, add the extra ½ cup almond milk and blend again.
