Raw Chocolate Flapjacks

Made with only a handful of simple ingredients these chocolate flapjacks are easy to make and are the most delicious snack. Great for lunch boxes or on the go pick me ups, these chocolate flapjacks are hard to resist and will have you going back for seconds!

3 cups jumbo porridge oats
½ cup almond butter
½ cup CHOC Chick Raw Cacao Butter melted
¾ cup maple syrup
¼ cup CHOC Chick Raw Cacao Powder
1 tsp. vanilla bean paste
Pinch of salt

Raw Chocolate, melted here is our raw chocolate recipe. We made half the amount of this recipe and then sprinkled with a bit of sea salt

Chocolate Flapjack Chocolate flapjack

Pre heat the oven to 180c and line a 9 inch square baking tray.

Mix together the almond butter, maple syrup, cacao butter, cacao powder, vanilla and salt in a large mixing bowl.

Once combined, stir in the oats until they are well covered.

Spoon the mixture into the baking tray and flatten.

Bake for 30 minutes, then remove from the oven and leave to cool for at least 15 minutes.

Drizzle over the raw chocolate and put in the fridge to set.

Remove from the fridge, sprinkle over a little sea salt and then cut the flapjack into slices.

Store in an airtight container until ready to eat.
