If you’re in the mood for a chocolatey cocktail, but want to pass on the alcohol, this cacao martini mocktail is perfect. Not only will it give you your cacao fix anytime of the day, it will boost your immune system and digestion with the added power of turmeric and the zing of ginger.
2 tbsp. CHOC Chick Turmeric and Ginger Blissful Blends Cacao
1 1/3 cup. cashew milk
1-2 tbsp. maple syrup
1 tsp. cinnamon
2-3 ice cubes (optional)
¼ cup. CHOC Chick cacao butter, (40g or 26 beans)
¼ cup. maple syrup
2 tbsp. CHOC Chick cacao powder
Pinch of salt
Raw Chocolate Shards (follow this recipe to make your own chocolate)
If you prefer an alcoholic option, add a measure of vodka and shake in a cocktail shaker.
Chocolate Sauce (make first)
In a small pan gently melt together all of the ingredients for the chocolate sauce. Once melted pour into a small dish and set to one side whilst you prepare the mocktail. This will allow the sauce to thicken and give you a pourable consistency.
Simple place all of the ingredients into a blender until smooth.
Drizzle a little chocolate sauce around the edge of two martini glasses. Divide the chocolate martini mocktail between the two glasses and top with raw chocolate shards.
