Loading... Please wait...Happy Holidays! This month's newletter will be short and sweet and what we mainly want to do is to thank all of our amazingly wonderful customers for supporting CHOC Chick and enjoying raw chocolate making as much as we do.
This year has been a fabulous year of growth, development and new connections with incredible people and places. We've loved working with John Lewis Food Halls and Whole Foods Market and have many new retailers across the UK and Europe now stocking our CHOC Kits and cacao ingredients (Triyoga, York Cocoa House, The Larder, Stirling Health Food Store - see our updated stockist list).
My visit to Ecuador to meet our cocoa farmers was a very special and uplifting experience that I will always treasure (read all about it in our CHOC Chat blog) and I have just returned from Copenhagen where we launched our CHOC Chick Kits at Magasin du Nord during their Christmas showcase weekend (even Santa stopped by our raw chocolate making demo).
In September we launched our newly designed ingredient packaging at the Speciality & Fine Food Fair and our first direct shipment of 1 tonne of organic raw cacao from Ecuador arrived in October. Last month we moved to new premises at Broyle Place Farm in East Sussex and we now have a lovely unit in the countryside and plenty of space to pack up our cacao butter and cacao powder in our new and very shiny reseal-able pouches.
As you can see we've been a bit busy this year, but we couldn't have done it without your love and support.
So thank you! We hope you all have an utterly CHOCtastic holiday season filled with happiness, success, love and plenty of raw chocolate goodness.

My recent trip to Copenhagen was simply wonderful. What a beautiful city and I am incredibly proud to have launched our Kits in Magasin du Nord, such a beautiful depatment store with an incredible chocolate section. It was packed with Christmas shoppers and even Santa stopped by to help me make raw chocolates. Copenhagen was simply stunning this time of year, I loved the beautifully designed shop windows, the incredible food and especially the Danish people's love of good quality chocolate :-).
This month our CHOCtastic recipe page includes a range of recipes for the holiday season and to lift our spirits during the dark winter months. We've got dried mangos and apricots dipped in raw CHOC (perfect Christmas gift idea!), spiced orange CHOCs, mulled hot chocolate to keep us warm and even a cheeky CHOCtini to toast the New Year with.
