CHOCaholic Newsletter - August 2010

Wow, its mid-August and the summer holidays are nearly over and thoughts are now turning to back to school and work. Not that we at CHOC Chick have had much of a break. My one week off in Ibiza was amazing, relaxing, fun and totally sun drenched, but as soon as I got back, the work has been nonstop (I’m not complaining of course).

Why have you been so busy I hear you ask? Well…I’m delighted to finally announce that Holland and Barrett have placed a lovely big order for our new CHOC Chick Starter Kits, which will be launched in September. I’m also thrilled that our CHOC Chick Kits and ingredients will be stocked and distributed by Tree of Life, Goodness Foods and Infinity Foods Wholesale, so I am frantically planning, stock taking, printing labels, sorting out barcodes and delivery schedules – the pressures on!!

We are also preparing for the Speciality & Fine Food Fair 2010, next month at Olympia (5-7 September, Olympia Grand Hall stand no 276), where our newly packaged and rebranded CHOC Chick Starter and CHOC Chick Master Kits will be unveiled (a sneak peak further down in this newsletter!).

And of course we can’t forget our family commitments, the kids off school, a few extra dogs running around our house and everything else that goes with being a mother and running a business (thank goodness I’ve always got some raw chocolate bars ready in the freezer!).

So this month’s newsletter is dedicated to all us working mothers who secretly can’t wait for school to begin again!

We are so excited that our CHOC Chick Kits and ingredients will be stocked soon in a growing number of amazing health food shops and organic retailers. From September 2010, CHOC Chick will be found at 50 Holland & Barrett stores across the UK and will also be stocked in Whole Foods Market (Kensington High Street, Clapham Junction and Stoke Newington in London), Planet Organic (London), Infinity Foods (Brighton).  The list of all the stores and stockists will be updated on our website soon and in our next newsletter however, if you happen to be in any of these shops and the CHOC Kits aren’t yet stocked, please make sure to ask for them and hopefully they will be stocked there soon!!
